Softball: Germantown Academy Offense Ignites in Win over Westtown

WEST CHESTER -- Germantown Academy was back in action on the road on Monday, taking on Westtown School where the Patriots took down the Moose, 26-4. The game ended in the fifth inning due to the run rule.

GA had a season high in hits (25) and runs led by Zoey Clark '26 who went 4-4 with three singles, 本垒打, 两个打点. Jazziah Manning '25 and Ava Fiumara '26 each went 3-4, both recording home runs and doubles. Fiumara also had seven RBI.  Aubrey Daniel '26 and Alex Johnson '25 each recorded a double and a triple.

Liv Reynolds '25 earned the start in the circle and responded by recording 10 strikeouts against just 23 batters. Reynolds also recorded a pair of singles and four RBI on offense. 

The Patriots started out hot, going up 2-0 after one inning. They added five runs in the second before Clark smashed a solo home run to give GA an 8-3 lead after three innings. GA plated 18 runners in the final two innings.

Germantown Academy will take to the road again on 4月il 23 as they head to Academy of Notre Dame for an Inter-Ac League battle. GA swept the Irish last season, taking both games by a combined score of 41-1.
